Is totally on sale again for 15 bucks.
www.clipstudio.net/en
I have used Photoshop, PaintToolSAI, and CSP/MangaStudio. CSP is easily the best of the three for creating new line art, in my experience. Picking it up for 15 bucks is a steal and may help any struggling artists out there have cleaner and more controlled lines.
It's going back to normal price in a few days, so if you were on the fence about it before, now is the time to jump on it.

Don't Commission Psyclopathe
This will be a very simple post. Psyclopathe has been abusing AI illustration generators to steal art from other people. They were caught ripping off the background from 's recent post: In a commission they posted on twitter and DA: https://twitter.com/psyclopathecom/status/1732326744714100970 When called out on it, they immediately deleted the image and reuploaded it with a *different* AI generated background. Which you can see here: If you commission Psyclopathe, you're likely to end up with shoddy AI work in your art, as well as potentially wrapped up in another case of art theft like this. There's a lot of other artists who take commissions and deliver actual work for your money. I implore you to use them instead.
Free ClipStudioPaint 3D kink materials
@Plasma-dragon has recently given everyone in the artist community a gift by providing free CSP 3D materials to use in our works. https://assets.clip-studio.com/en-us/search?user=Plasma-dragon&order=new These materials are 3D objects that you can manipulate and move inside your CSP documents for use as references. It makes it very easy for anyone to draw these somewhat complex shapes. (especially the rigid yoke and fiddles) This is a simple tutorial for using the basic 3D bodies. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RuWpou1XTK4 This shows how you can create easy line art from the 3D object props. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YoGShcL6eek I wanted to make sure that everyone knows about these resources so they can make use of them. Plas has worked to create them for us and generously donated them for free so there's no reason not to try them out. I personally believe that making use of the 3D resources in CSP is a great way to augment your drawing skill and potentially make the
Chainsman Institute Archive + La Clinique
As a late Xmas present to everyone, ~ARNie00 (https://www.deviantart.com/arnie00) has generously uploaded a backup of the old Chainsman Institute site as well as La Clinique for everyone to DL. If you've been lamenting the loss of the backups, now you can relieve the fantastic labyrinth the old sites were.
I hope you all enjoy it and go thank ARNie for uploading them.
Fiction Fixation
I just wanted to point out to people who were interested, that I uploaded a document that explains some of the Capture Kingdom setting a little more in depth. For anyone who wanted to know a bit more about the park and how it came to be, this will provide at least some answers.
I also wanted to point out some wonderful fiction that ~muddyscarecrow (https://www.deviantart.com/muddyscarecrow) has done within the setting. Four different short stories are available, all set within the park, for your amusement. He's done a wonderful job highlighting the adventurous but fun atmosphere I intended for the setting to have. You should really go check them out:
